This is only a guide and does not guarantee fitment. It is based on online research, and cars listed here can have different gear lever designs, even within the same model and year. Some may have a pull-up reverse collar, buttons, wiring or other features listed in “What Won’t Fit”. Even if your car appears in the guide, please read that section, check your own gear lever and do further research before ordering.

What do the adaptor terms mean?
Open a term below to see what is included and what you need to check.
Supplied threaded adaptorThe suggested threaded adaptor is included with GripStick. The five supplied sizes are M8×1.25, M10×1.25, M10×1.5, M12×1.25 and M14×1.5. Check that both the diameter and thread pitch match your gear lever.
Supplied threadless clampThe supplied threadless adaptor grips a smooth, round gear lever without a threaded end. Measure the bare lever where it will attach and check any diameter shown in your result. It will not make a pull-up reverse lockout, button or wired shifter compatible.
ConditionalAn included adaptor may work, but only if the condition stated in the result is met. You might need to confirm the thread pitch, measure the bare lever or check which gearbox you have. If the condition is not met, an extra adaptor or interface may be needed.
Extra adaptor NOT suppliedThe adaptor named in that result is not included with GripStick. You will need to source a suitable adaptor separately before fitting. It must match your car's gear lever on one side and have an M18 × 1.5 external (male) thread on the GripStick side. A generic adaptor that only matches the car-side thread may not connect to GripStick.
What do thread sizes like M10×1.25 mean?M10×1.25 means a metric thread with a 10 mm outside diameter and 1.25 mm between threads. A size such as 1/2-20 is imperial: 1/2 inch diameter with 20 threads per inch. Both the diameter and pitch must match.
“Supplied” describes what is in the box; it does not guarantee fitment. Confirm your exact gear lever before ordering.
What won't fit?
GripStick is designed for gear levers that can accept a suitable threaded or threadless adaptor. It is not suitable for the setups below, even if a thread size appears to match.
-
Pull-up reverse lockouts
If you lift a ring or collar under the knob to select reverse, GripStick is not compatible with that mechanism.
-
Buttons on the knob
If the original gear knob has a button needed to select a gear or operate a vehicle function, GripStick cannot replace that control.
-
Wiring or integrated controls
Gear knobs or levers with wiring, switches or other controls built into them are not compatible.
-
Automatic gear selectors
GripStick can fit some automatic gear selectors, provided the factory knob has no buttons, wiring or built-in release mechanism. The selector shaft must also suit one of our adaptors and allow full movement through every gear position. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.mechanisms.
The included adaptors and any separately sourced adaptor do not remove these exclusions. Check the actual gear lever in your car before ordering, especially if it has been modified or swapped.
